if he regressed, then why would you make him the centerpiece of a deal for jj?
Plus, why rebuild when you have one of the best records in the league? If you're going to trade jj, then you need to be the one doing the raping.

Understand, but keep in mind I have had JJ on the block the entire offseason/this season and got no offer close to this. I am rebuilding, my team has a top 5 record but DLee will NOT sustain his play all year, and there are several teams I have almost no chance of beating in the playoffs. I don't wanna be stuck in limbo and have to resign JJ to a max contract or risk losing him. I want to make my OWN TEAM, not ride the coattails of a former GM. That may be how some roll, but not I. I wanted to get a trade in before this sim as well, and the other GMs I was in talks with did not get back to me in time.
If people are against this and veto it, so be it, I have seen and had trades vetoed before (but I will still trade JJ as Lee is now gone). but I wanted you to see my logic in doing this. I have proven myself as a very very good GM in the past, so people should be wary when doubting me
And I would consider the Suns a powerhouse of the last few years..

No matter what though, no one really steps up for him. That was annoying about him.

Exactly, people praise him as the best player in SSBL history, yet then give me shit offers. Last year I tried to move him while staying in contention, but the offers were insanely underwhelming. That's bogus wen u say no offers came close cause I offered you reke for him along with Rudy gay....and all though close reke>kemba...and don't even bring up those future firsts cause with jj the hawks will win even if hes the only player on the team

And I find it funny that the guy who once told me cash shouldn't come into effect when determining value of trades is using it to argue his point.  That said, as a member of the committee I voted to pass the deal. But it certainly wasn't your glowing argument that helped me decide. |
