make steve fix it  and jeez i was throwin barbs fran and 16 out there for him I offered Bosh AND Kirilenko.  I was also taking Chandler's contract but really, it's not about me, it's about that team and that deal being processed period. |

That franchise has needed someone willing to make bold moves for a while. They've had some pretty solid teams, but they have never had a GM that was willing to go out and make the move to compete for a championship.

Gonna dustbust this beatch. Trades certainly aren't finished but I'm really happy the way things are turning out in MEM. I feel jeb got the best of the deal with Granger, but there is normally never a price worth a guy like that.
With that said, a Jrue Holiday/Wesley Johnson/Donte Greene/Kevin Love/DeMarcus Cousins lineup this season is getting me excited. I'll be focusing on drafting a SG next year unless someone surprises/disappoints me and I don't need one.

I'm not going to say one way or the other if Granger would land more since people always say something like "I'd offer more", etc., but you roll with what you can get. I'm sure we've all had instances where we put someone on the block, get little response, and then take what we can get and people question it but that's how it goes.
As for what the Grizzlies got, they got some nice pieces with Hill and Holiday entering their second year so not really going to judge until after training camp. But if these guys improve along with the rest of their young talent the Grizzlies could have a young core moving forward (and cap space this next offseason to fill gaps).
The Pistons by far get the best player but take on another huge contract and have two key players in their contract year in Bass and Oden so it will be interesting to see if they can resign both players and stay under the hard cap.
