A hallmark of any SSBL. This won't be opened until we start making trades.
Here's an opportunity to speak freely, more or less, about trades. If things get out of hand, I'll close the thread and fine people for misconduct, but in general, I think it's good to have a thread to express opinions about trades.
As you can see, it's both for complaining and discussing, so remember that.

Wolves trade:
Garrett Patterson Winter
Lakers trade:
Jones Ollie
For a second I thought that was Garnett. The League was almost over

I'm a little surprised Dirk and T-mac moved. Lots of young guns are moving around.

I'm a little surprised Dirk and T-mac moved. Lots of young guns are moving around. Yeah, I was surprised I moved Dirk myself. However, it made sense for the team. Got a nice wing without giving up the rest of my core, which wouldn't have happened in another deal. I was either targeting Camby or Big Ben at the 4, so I'm happy with Camby.

Just trying to get some trade activity going.
Hoping we really start taking off as the shitty players (this is the worst period in nba history) start to leave and better players make their way in.

This really is a shitty stretch here in the talent dept. Until 02, it's rough

He very well could have if Tim Floyd hadn't fucked him up and tried turning him into a SF.

How about those last two trades?! I think the Pacers/Grizz deal was the most interesting... could end up being one that benefits both teams equally.

Jermaine's got a long road ahead of him and Bibby just isn't very good right now. He better start camping both otherwise he threw a gift from fbb out the window On a smaller scale the same can probably be said about the Kemp deal. Kemp's not on Zo's level and it's not like he hasn't been trying to move the guy. I'm just a lil surprised he didn't get more. Not necessarily a bad deal or anything though.

Yeah, I put him on the block 2 offseasons ago and was offered Glenn Robinson. Thats the only offer I have had until now. Had my team won last year, I wouldn't have traded him, but they did awful. I realize I didn't bring his name back up, but he is 2 years older, didn't think there would many more takers now than then. I know the Paces 03 pick is a gamble, but what struggling team is going to trade a pick for Kemp.

No idea wtf that dude's talking about. When E-Rob is the best player in the deal the only one getting raped is the commissioner for having to take the time to process the deal. ;D

So what do people think about the Cavs Clippers deal I personally think it helps both teams. Clippers have a lot of young pieces but were lacking a good scoring guard.

You just better hope we aren't saying "He gave that up for QRich!?" in a few seasons Two picks was excessive imo.

Your team still has question marks across the board. Therefore, risky at this stage. On a side note, I don't understand your fascination of Nesby lol

thoughts on the wiz/celtics trade? good deal for both, Celtics get a good player in Ben and rid of Fisher's contract. Wiz add an All-star and a top offensive option in Walker

2 1sts and Wallace for Sjax? Thats borderline veto. In any case looks like some serious thuggery.

Wallace is not an offensive threat, but Sjax is far from elite in that department too, and since its his 3rd season, I doubt he can become a 20 ppg scorer without camping...And he has a larger deal. If I had to choose between Wallace and Sjax straight up, id prolly take Ben, so adding two 1sts from a rebuilding team is simply a no in my book, sorry.
