Corey Maggette SF 6'6 215 22 B C+ C B- C B
Duke Jr.
Originally considering going Pro after his freshman season, Maggette returned to Duke in 1999 and again in 2000. Now a junior, Maggette is still unsure if he wants to go Pro or finish up at Duke for one more year (why not). Coach K has developed Maggette better defensively, but aside from that CM's game hasn't that much improved or worsened since arriving at Duke. Still a scoring threat who gets the rim at will. He’s super athletic, drives to the rim, and scores with ease. Sometimes gets too cocky and selfish at times and forgets that there are 4 other teammates on the floor.

Shane Battier SF 6'8 220 23 C B C A- C C
Duke Sr.
One of the best defenders to come out of college. Can block, steal and draw charges. A good leader. Fundamentally sound and knows the game's ins and outs. A team-player who is unselfish and will dish if a teammate is open. Has become a very good three-point shooter--often he would spot up and wait for Jay Williams to set him up.. Can defend all 5 positions. Gets into great position on the blocks for rebounds. Ball-handling is surprisingly pretty good. Has good timing on his blocks this is important considering he's not much of a leaper. Not athletic has gotten this far based on his fundamentals and intelligence. Some say his game has peaked, but he's already a very pro-ready solid player. Goes through periods were his jump shot can be inconsistent.

Tayshaun Prince SF 6'9 215 21 C+ B- C B C A
Kentucky Jr.
Prince wisely stayed in school after his sophomore season, where he became the SEC player of the year as a junior. Prince is a potentially game-breaking shooter, though his jumper is unorthodox. Can he get his shot off in the pros? Prince is smart, has basketball savvy and isn't afraid of blue-collar jobs like defense and rebounding. He's a sneaky shot-blocker. Really thin frame--long and lanky makes him a good defender though. But seriously needs to bulk up. Having a terrific shooting year from the floor and from the FT line as well. Is heavily considering returning for his senior season.

Richard Jefferson SF 6'7 222 21 B- C+ C B C A
Arizona Jr.
RJ is probably the most underrated draftee this year. Despite only being junior, he has announced all intention to go Pro and has declared for the draft. He is athletic and has explosive leaping ability. Has numerous ways that he can score either by moving without the ball or taking defenders off the dribble. Good on-ball defender. Dynamic in the open court literary flies through the air. Unlike many other high flyers, RJ isn't lost in the half-court set thanks to a decent mid-range game. Also a good rebounder. Has become a pretty good passer. Needs to work on the mechanics of his shot because he doesn't always have a consistent follow-through. Still learning how to shoot off the dribble. Has a tendency to get careless with the ball. Needs to learn how to play the passing lanes better so he can have easy steals. Mid-range game is decent but he's no Reggie. His 3-point shot goes through periods when it's off and on...

Gerald Wallace SF 6'7 215 19 B- C- C- B C+ B
Alabama Fr.
One of the most explosive leapers and most athletic players in the draft . Excels off of fast-breaks. Can create off the dribble as he attacks the basket and draws fouls. A hustle player. Plays pretty good defense for a player his age, thanks to his quickness and hustle. Capable of getting a ton of steals and blocks. Very good rebounder for a player of his size due to his quick hops. Can occasionally hit the jumper from about 20 feet but it is inconsistent and not a threat. 3pt shot needs much work. Could stand to tone up his body more and develop some upper body strength as he is a little on the thin side. Turns the ball over a lot. Ball handling needs work. Shot selection still isn't all that great although he has shown improvement since HS. Gets to the free throw line but doesn't take advantage because of his poor free throw shooting ability. Must become a better passer and know when to give the ball up..young, so his upside will get him a lotto selection.

Rodney White SF 6'9 238 21 C+ C+ C- C+ C+ A
Charlotte Fr.
Good size and an SSBL-ready body. Played PF at Charlotte but is better suited as a SF in the PRos. Versatile player who can take the inside pounding or float outside for the 3-point shot. Good agility and a excellent first step that makes him hard to guard on the perimeter. Has an array of inside post moves that enable him to finish among the trees. Athletic guy who can run the floor and finish. Handles the ball well for a player of his size. Pretty good free throw shooter for a player with his size. Plays with passion and energy, which can't be taught. Has became a much stronger player thanks to his off-season weight training. However, is turnover prone and doesn't position himself to grab that many rebounds. Tends to settle for outside shots Shot selection could still use a little work. Defense, like for most young players, could stand to improve especially in the aspects of anticipation and lateral quickness. Not a great shot-blocker. In one season at Charlotte, he has certainly impressed some scouts, but his upside is unsure.

Andres Nocioni SF 6'7" 225 22 C+ B C- B- C A
Argentina
The Argentinian player turned down an offer to play for Saski Baskonia (Spain) in hopes of playing in the SSBL. Was named the LNB (Argentinian League)'s Best Sixth Man in 1999 when he played for TAU Cerámica. Noc is a good defender with a good and reliable outside shot. Not super atheltic, like many foreign players, but a tough, in-your-face type of player. Capable of hitting threes all day. A better on-ball defender than help defender. Decent rebounder. Can play the two and even defend the four, but better suited as a SF.

Jamario Moon SF 6'8" 200 21 B C- C B C B
Meridian CC Sr.
Let's add another dunker to the list. Moon is a very, very good leaper. I forsee him winning the SSBL Dunk Contest one day. Asude from his hops, he's also a decent defender can get a bunch of blocks and steals. Has a chance of one day becoming a solid role player, but will probably be a more formidable energy guy off the bench who will wow the home crowd with ally-oops and tomahawk jams.

Trenton Hassell SF 6'5 200 22 C+ C+ C- B C B
Austin Peay Jr.
Comes from a small school and has impressed, as shown by notching a triple double this year, and several times came close again. For a SG/SF he rebounds pretty well. Able to recognize double teams and pass out of them. Has developed a decent perimeter shot from about 22 ft with some consistency. Loves to drive to the basket from the baseline usually off a spin move or facing the basket. Can penetrate and dish. Has a post up game that he uses when his jumper isn't failing. Solid free throw shooter who will make you pay if you foul him. Can also hit multiple 3's when he's hot. Biggest concern will be how he will transition from a small-school to right to the Pros. He's a good defender but will have a challenge of guarding bigger players. Perimeter shooting needs to be worked on.
---
Bobby Simmons SF 6'7 210 21 C+ B+ C- C+ C B
DePaul Jr.
Simmons is athletic and can score in a variety ways. A good 3pt shooter too. He could use another year in college to hone his skills, but has declared for the draft already. Similar to Q-Rich last year, Simmons can score and shoot, but unlike Q, he lacks defensive ability to make him a lotto selection. Not very quick and is best suited spot-up rather than creating off the dribble. Rebounds pretty well and is pretty strong, but not a very good leaper. Some scouts like his upside, some are doubtful, let's see if he's up to the task of proving doubters wrong.

Kedrick Brown SF 6'7 222 20 C+ B- C B- C+ A
Okaloosa-Walton CC So.
Athletic player with a 45-inch vertical. Strong and has an SSBL-ready body. Excellent finisher on the fast break. Able to create shots for himself off the dribble doesn't really need a point guard to set him up. Creates mismatches thanks to his versatile inside-outside game as he is too strong for most small forwards and to fast for power forwards. Plays good defense with his quick hands and has wonderful leaping ability making him a threat to block shots and steal the ball. Very good rebounder due to his leaping ability which makes it very hard to keep him off the boards Shot selection is above average considering his experience. Because of his experience, hasn't really played stiff competitio. Carless with the ball . 3-point shot still needs to continue to be more consistent. Must continue on being a better mid-range shooter also. Fundamentally, Brown is still learning the do's and dont's of organized ball. Unlike most underclassmen Brown doesn't have the option of going back to school because of the fact that he is a Junior College player.

Sean Lampley SF 6'7 227 22 C+ C D+ C+ C+ B
California Sr.
Lampley has a wide range of skills. He has a great low-post game and is improving from the perimeter. Lampley is also a great passer. He improved his shooting percentage every year at Cal. Doesn't have the height or quickness to play SF, so might end up an undersized-PF, so he'll need to get stronger.
---
Terence Morris SF 6'9 221 22 C+ C C B C+ B
Maryland Sr.
Morris' stock went down as his career progressed, mainly because of his tendency to get lost in big games. He's got size and skill, though, and if he ever maintains a degree of consistency, he could be a solid pro. Versatile offensive game and is very athletic. Can handle and has long arms to block shots. However inconsistent and doesn't have the passioin about the game, makes you think he'll end up a role player at-best.
---
Damone Brown SF 6'8 220 22 C+ C C- C+ B- C
Syracuse Sr.
Good combo-forward who creates mismatches. Has made steady improvements throughout his college career. He became a primary option in his senior season at Syracuse and proved he could handle the load. Gets his fair share of rebounds from his position. Needs to gain upper-body strength and cut-down turnovers. Not a great passer.
---
Michael Wright SF 6'7 239 21 C+ D+ C- C+ B- B
Arizona Jr.
He's on the small side to be a power forward in the Pros, but Wright could make up for his lack of size with his guts and competitive drive. He can crash the boards with authority, and his improving perimeter game might allow him to play the small forward spot on occasion.
---
Bryan Bracey SF 6'7 211 23 B- B- C- C C+ D
Oregon Sr.
Bracey has good size for a wing position, and he knows how to score. He's got quick moves to the basket and inside the lane. Not a good passer or defender though
