14 Theo Pinson SG 6'5'' 170 18 B- C+ C+ C+ C A
What a steal here. Blazers take a gamble on high-flyer straight out of high school who will most likely see a lot of time in the D-League. The Blazers are a very young team and have a nice future.
15 Nate Britt PG 6'1'' 170 19 C B B B- D A
The "I changed my mind" pick, Britt could have been a lotto selection but was deservingly the top PG picked in the draft. The one-and-done shooter out of Georgetown will probably start right off the bat alongside Norris Cole in the Bay Area.
16 Rasheed Sulaimon SG 6'3'' 175 20 C+ B- C+ B C- A
The combo guard from Duke has all the tools to be a successful player in the SSBL. Playing alongside John Wall, Khem Birch, and Kuran Iverson might make teams forget about his quickness and tenacity.
17 Allerik Freeman SG 6'5'' 215 19 B- C+ B- B- C- A
Freeman could have/should have went higher, but the Clippers get a steal right here. He's a a true combo guard in every sense. He's already a good passer, but don'et let the fact that he'll be backing up Ricky Rubio might make you forget about hat part of his game.
18 Mario Hezonja C 6'11'' 230 19 B- C D C+ B- A
The big man from Croatia will stay overseas another season, and I'm sure he'll be dying to play next to LeBron James. He's got a good inside game and is a tremendous offensive rebounder.
19 Vladlen Berezhnyy SF 6'7'' 197 19 B- C+ C+ C+ C- A
The Blazers stick with the young-route, and draft a 19 year old this time. The Ukraine-native decided to come to the US this year and will now battle for playing time among an influx of youth in Portland.
20 Robert Carter PF 6'8'' 240 20 B- C D+ B- B- A
You may call Jeb a genius, or just really lucky that Carter fell to him this far. Carter has the ratings and upside to have been a top 10, maybe even top 5 pick. PF has been a need for Detroit for several years, given that Bass's game has regressed over the years, and Thornton (playing out of position) started at PF for a few years now.
21 Yogi Ferrell PG 5'11'' 175 20 C+ B- B- B- D+ A
This one is a no-brainer...Marbury aka "the Tattoo" retired (finally), and with all three Charlotte PG's (Dee Brown, Nolan Smith, Ian Miller) hitting Free Agency, they had to select a PG here. Ferrell is definitely a nice pickup here.
22 Gary Harris SG 6'4'' 195 20 B- B- C B- D+ A
Thoroughly upset that Harris was auto-picked for the Heat. The GM couldn't even get online to notice the kind of scorer/defender this kid is. He's only 20 and has some nice ratings. Why couldn't he just fall 2 more spots!?
23 Jarnell Stokes PF 6'8'' 245 21 B- D+ D+ B- C+ B
Stokes is a solid big man, and an able body in the paint. All 245 lbs of him will bang with the big boys in the Pros, and the new Sonics GM is all about finding who can pair with Oden and Rose the best this upcoming season.
24 Ain Guo PG 6'4'' 180 21 B- B B- C D B
A gifted scorer, but lacking in defense, he could be the Chinese PG replacement if Sun Yue isn't re-signed.
25 Jabari Brown SG 6'4'' 200 21 B C+ C- B- C- B
An athletic slasher with a strong build. Magic look to rebuild this year after another disappointing playoff run (or lack thereof). Brown looks far from a piece to build around, but is a skilled wing player nonetheless.
26 Torian Graham SG 6'4'' 210 20 B C+ C C+ C- B
The Champs were looking at Brown, but also had Graham on their radar. He's also got a strong build and is pretty quick as well.
27 Daniel Ochefu C 6'10'' 233 20 C+ C C B C+ B
The young suns lack defense, interior defense especially. Ochefu is the best post-defender available, so that should help.
28 Ricardo Ledo SG 6'6'' 195 21 B B- C- C C B
Ledo is a skilled scorer with a great size. Just needs to pack on some pounds and also needs to learn how to stay in front of his man.
29 Agusti Sans PG 6'6'' 200 19 C+ C+ B C C- A
The last pick of the 1st round goes to the Blazers, who had an excellent draft to say the least. Another 19 year old, and this guy will battle new PG Josiah Turner for minutes at PG.
