Every offseason, when we hold the draft, I will announce the rules governing our draft.
1. DO NOT POST IN THE OFFICIAL DRAFT THREAD UNLESS YOU ARE MAKING A PICK. Any other remarks will incur a fine.
2. Send draft lists!
3. On the first day of the draft, teams will have 2 hours to make a selection. If you haven't picked or sent a list in those 2 hours, tough luck--we're CPUing your pick.
4. The draft culminates with a live AIM chat version of the draft, or if not enough people are online, I just sim it.
5. For players drafted in the second round, you will have the option of cutting them for free, with no cap penalties, or extending their contract to a third year, in which the player will earn $1 million. The third year option is also free.
6. Draft Discussion - pls don't mention names of players who are still available but you may comment on guys already selected
Between the hours of 10AM - 11:59PM EST:
1. 2 hour time limit if you're offline
2. 15 min time limit if you're online
3. 2nd Round time limit, is 1 hour off, 15 min on
PM lists to ray and all draft mods. Just put the following in the "to:" box for your message:
admin,manhattanproject,cashmoney,daschmaranz
Look out for these threads during the draft-- I will close the cutting and extension the day before Free Agency Day 1.
