2011 Draft [A+]
30 Portland Trailblazers (from Mavs) - Markieff Morris PF 6'10'' 235 22 B- C+ C- B- C+ B
40 Portland Trailblazers - Klay Thompson SG 6'6'' 187 21 C+ B+ C C+ C B
Both Morris and Klay have turned themselves into great players. Unfortunately Morris was moved and that was one the Blazers wish they could have back since he is looking like a new age Rasheed Wallace. Klay Thompson made his debut this year and dropped 40 points in his first ever game. Klay will be an important piece moving forward for the Blazers. Considering both of these guys went in the second round, these were two steals.
2010 Draft
9 Portland Trailblazers - James Harden SG 6'5'' 218 21 C+ B C+ C+ C- A
34 Portland Trailblazers - Trevor Booker PF 6'7'' 215 23 C+ C+ C- B- C+ C
38 Portland Trailblazers - Jerome Jordan C 7'0'' 235 24 C+ D+ D+ B- B- C
Harden has developed into a nice player in this league, though his team would love to see him take more shots. Harden does a little bit of everything for the Grizzlies. Booker never turned into anything, the Blazers were hoping he could be a solid in and out player. Jordan has turned himself into a respectable center in this league, though not for this team.
2009 Draft [D+]
7 Portland Trailblazers - DeJuan Blair PF 6'7'' 265 20 C+ D+ C- C+ B+ B
12 Portland Trailblazers (from 76ers) - Hasheem Thabeet C 7'3'' 265 22 C D- D B B- B
29 Portland Trailblazers (from Celtics) - Christian Eyenga SF 6'5'' 210 20 B- C C C+ C B
Both Big East big man turned out to be a bust. Blair was quite the bust though, the Blazers were hoping that he could become one of the best rebounders in the league, an area that they clearly struggled over the past few years. Thabeet was supposed to be an elite defender and good rebounder due to his size. However both of these guys can be considered journey men now due to major suckage. This draft wasn't a failure thanks to Eyenga who has turned himself into a nice player.
2008 Draft [D]
55 Portland Trailblazers - Pat Calathes SF 6'10'' 210 23 C+ B D+ C+ C C
57 Portland Trailblazers - D.J. White PF 6'9'' 230 22 C+ D F+ C B C
With two late second round pick you don't expect much, that was evident with these two picks. Neither Calathes or White really amounted to much at all.

41 Portland Trailblazers - Joel Anthony C 6'9'' 245 25 C D D- B C B
Hoping to capitalize on Nemanja fever and the departure of Joe Johnson this spawned a new era for the Blazers. Sun Yue finall came over to the states but was more a back up for all his teams. Anthony was supposed to be a big man to throw his body around but he could never stay on the court.

33 Blazers - Josh Boone C 6'10'' 240 22 C+ D C- C+ B- A
The best pick in this bunch was Hilton Armstrong though he never played a great game for the Blazers but went on to enjoy a nice career after moving on. He finally broke out for the Jazz and turned himself into a solid player. Shannon Brown has bounced around but has been a solid player. Boone was a certified scrub.
2005 Draft [C]
27 Portland Trailblazers - Nemanja Aleksandrov PF 6'11'' 223 18 C+ C+ C- B- C B
55 Blazers - Salim Stoudamire SG 6'1'' 180 23 C+ B C+ C D- B
The reign of Nemanja never quite happened, after spending time in the D-League he turned himself into a solid player but never reached his potential. Stoudamire was a late round second pick and his shooting never did much for the team. Nemanja fever ran rampant in Portland though it was all for naught.
2004 Draft [C+]
12 Portland Trailblazers - Shaun Livingston PG 6'7'' 180 19 B- C B- B C A
42 Portland Trailblazers - Donta Smith SG 6'7'' 215 21 C+ C+ C+ C+ C B
The Blazers enjoying the third year of Joe Johnson started to swing for the fences with potential players and this time it landed them Shaun Livingston and Donta Smith. During this time Johnson was a dynamic shooting guard so they hoped Livingston would develop to an elite defender and facilitator, never quite happened. 45 16 Portland Trailblazers - Bostjan Nachbar SF 6'9'' 221 22 C+ B- D+ C+ C B
Thanks to Joe Johnson the Blazers went to the end of the first round again, time time picking another defensive guy in Jeffries, though he turned out to be useless. The foreign players in Welsch and Nachbar never amounted to much for the Blazers.

35 Portland Trailblazers - Jeryl Sasser PG 6'6'' 200 22 C+ B- B- B- C C
When this pick was made most assumed that Gasol would be the first pick and some even questioned the selection of Joe Johnson. Years later Joe Johnson is considered the best player ever to some in the league, a top three player of all time. After him the Blazers swung for the fences with Brown and Sasser but neither ever became much at all.
