*No Wildcards*
Milwaukee Bucks - Andre Drummond
This Bucks team is loaded with young talent and their in excellent position to land the best center prospect in quite some time. He has an excellent low post game, amazing athleticism and can anchor a defense. He needs some work with his rebounding and attitude, but talent wise the sky is the limit for Drummond.
Washington Wizards- Quincy Miller
Replacing the steps of Perry Jones at BYU, Quincy Miller filled those shoes and exceeded them actually. Miller can score in a ton of ways, from beyond the arc and take it inside. He is a combo forward that can start for the Wizards at the four. Miller needs to work on his shot selection but his potential is sky high.
Phoenix Suns - Isaiah Austin
Another huge talent out of BYU Austin gives the Suns much needed shotblocking that they need and an infusion of young talent in the front court. Austin is one of the most intriguing prospects due to his ability to handle the ball and being a seven footer. If he packs on more strength he can play the three, four or five. With his size, athleticism and handling he is just a fun prospect to watch.
Portland Trailblazers- Kaleb Tarczewski
Kaleb is sort of a late bloomer but his potential is as high as any other big in this draft. He is extremely physical once he establishes a dominant position in the post and can finish with either hand. With the ball in his hands is where he really shines, as he is an excellent passer and can hit the cutter. He is pretty mobile and can run the floor, but he is a big time project. He is the prototypical high risk high reward players as he could turn out to be one of the elite centers. Any team who takes him will need to work on his strength and size, but he has all the tools.
Memphis Grizzlies - James McAdoo
The Grizzlies have young talent all over the roster so they can pick for a BPA at this spot. I have them taking McAdoo because he can play the three and four for the team. Son on Bob McAdoo, James grew up playing basketball the right way unlike Austin Rivers. He brings high intensity, smarts and understands how to use his body and angles. His shot is still a work in progress, but if the Grizz are patient with him they will have a legit talent on their hands.
LA Clippers - Mitch McGary
The Clippers are another team with young talent all over the roster. McGary already have has an NBA body, extremely strong and uses his strength to enforce his will on the court. Running through his screens is quite the dare for opposing players. He never gives up on a play, attacks the boards and has soft hands. He needs work on his shot, but it is respectable. As a scorer he is a work in progress, but the Clippers need basketball players and he is one.
Miami Heat - Dexter Strickland
Strickland got off to a slow start at UNC but once he moved to the two, the story was ready to unfold. With Marshall running the show it allowed Strickland to go into attack mode. He is a one man fastbreak and with his perimeter defense it can happy at any moment. With his speed and quickness we feel that he can become a good shooting guard for the Heat who are slowly rebuilding this team with youth. Strickland needs to work on his shot a bit, but it's respectable. Also if he puts on a little weight it would help him a lot on the defensive end.
