also completely forgot that datrackstar was the Bulls GM so I picked for them in the draft assuming they were vacant.. I guess he doesn't want to be here

Ok, here's my thing, when I introduced CY into this league, the aim was to motivate people to actually try to win after rebuilding or tanking....4 years of being under .500 or missing playoffs is a long time. The purpose of being in your CY is supposed to give some added pressure to succeed. Look at how RManske and Mgcoug wheel'd and dealed to avoid CY firing. I didn't see that with wcubmac. All year. Just one or two DC changes.
I know he said he tried really hard to make trades, but in the end, he didn't.
It's not set in stone but I usually waited at least a season to pass before I asked a CY'd GM to come back. Like afro for example.

I think if you need GM's you need GMs just my opinion. It's still a motivation to keep your current team since if you just shit on it, you're going to lose what you've started to build anyway and not guarntee'd a position.

I like the idea amanuel had where you have a committee that discusses and determines whether the GM should be allowed to stay, or let go. I really like that idea, instead of it being a default position.
As far as wcub, give him a new squad just to get his interest going. I'm sure you wouldn't want to go back to the same team, so switch it up

damn, didnt mean to leave you guys in a tough spot, I will keep the rockets for a while (at least a few more seasons) to make it so you dont have a mass exodus if you need.
Love this leaguea nd would rather not leave it in a bad spot.
