Andre Drummond C 6'10'' 275 19 B- D+ D- B- B- A
Great size in the paint. His elbows are similar to the end of a bat, and he will brutalize his opponents after a rebound. Clears out a crowd with no problem with his size and strength, and at just 19 years old, still has time to grow even larger. Despite how young he is, Drummond has a very polished offensive game, complete with a nearly perfected back to the basket moveset. If he had one place to improve the most, it'd be his defensive effort.
Fab Melo C 7'0'' 255 22 C+ C- D B B- A
One of the most SSBL ready bigman prospects in the draft, Fab Melo comes out of Syracuse after two years of banging the boards for the celebrated Orangeman program under Boeheim. Melo is your typical big bodied center who can clog the lane and rebound the ball for as many minutes as he plays. Needs to work on his ball handling, but without an offensive game, shouldn't be touching the ball more than he needs to.
Festus Ezeli C 6'11'' 255 23 B- D+ D+ B B- A
This athletic big from Vanderbilt burst onto the scene after AJ Ogilvy graduated, allowing Ezeli to prove his worth during his Jr. and Sr. years in school. The go-to guy on offense showed flashed of brilliance on offense, and knows what to do on defense after playing organized competitive ball at a consistent level for 4 straight years. Festus uses his athleticism and leaping ability to excel at everything he does on the floor, however, is almost lost on the perimeter. Festus will play best at Center and center only in the SSBL.
Reggie Johnson C 6'10'' 303 21 C+ D+ F+ B- C+ B
Possibly the largest of all prospects, Johnson also has one of the softest touches around the basket. As you can imagine with a 300 pounder, Reggie struggles athletically with foot-speed and leaping. His size and strength though makes him such an imposing force in the paint on defense, that he alters shots without even being able to jump that high. His lack of quickness in the post causes him to struggle rebounding the ball, however on offense he can easily toss up 2 or 3 putbacks off his own misses.
Greg Smith C 6'10'' 249 21 C+ D D B+ B- B
Greg Smith was the anchor of one of the best defenses in college basketball during the 2010-2011 season with Fresno State. Greg's length on defense makes him one of the best shot blockers in the draft class, and could easily lead the league in that category should he keep his head on straight and continue to improve. Offensively, he leaves a lot to be wanted however. With really no offensive game aside from putbacks, Smith focuses his attention on the defensive end where he often starts the fast break.
Tyler Zeller C 6'11'' 220 22 C+ C- C- B B- C
Coming from another storied franchise, Zeller has 4 years of fundamental type basketball under his belt. Teams looking for a sure thing will take a look at Zeller - because his maturity, intelligence and athleticism make him a perfect fit on any team. Many doubt he will get much better, however when you have a player of Zeller's maturity, strange things can happen down the road.
Kenny Lawson C 6'9'' 250 24 C D+ D B- B C
One of the better rebounders in the class, Lawson uses his size and strength to bull his way through the post in a scrappy style of play. Would fit on any team with his hustle and energy - a constant running motor is often how Lawson is described.
Adnan Hodzic C 6'9'' 250 24 C+ C- D C+ B- C
Hodzic brings a respectable offensive game, struggles on defense, but loves playing under the glass. He's very strong despite his look, and he uses that size to muscle opponents from under the hoop on both ends of the floor.
