So after a tough day of watching lots of playoff basketball yesterday, I started thinking... As fans, I'm sure we all have one player (or coach) that we wish could win (or have won) a championship during their time in the league. Just off the top of my head there are players like Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton, etc. that were great players but never captured that elusive ring. With that in mind, if you could get one guy a ring who would it be?
I'm going to go with two guys, but both coaches in George Karl and Rick Adelman. Both of these guys are great coaches and good for the game and had times they had great teams but could never get over that last hurdle to win.
With Adelman leaving Houston and now 66 years old (I think) his time to capture a ring I think is about over and while they have made some moves to remake their roster I don't see Karl winning one in Denver in the near future.
So let's hear what everyone thinks...
