Ok, so I've had DeAndre Jordan in his 2nd D-League stint the whole year now. I'm kinda confused by this stuff at the moment. If I send someone else down now, does DeAndre still get full benefits? As in, the +2's? Also, with the new rules, is there any benefit to keeping a d-leaguer (who doesn't get any potential cause its his 2nd time in the dleague) the WHOLE year in the d-league instead of calling him up at the all star break?

Also, one more question since the D-League rulebook isn't updated to the new rules, how long does a first timer have to be in the d-league to get the +5 potential? It says a full year, but that was before we put the new rule in of only having one player down at a time. Thank you!

2nd timers don't get potential bonus. never has been the case.
the only changes to the original rules (which you're right, I should have updated) are: 1) limit only 1 player AT A TIME per season. 2) 2nd time in the D-League, player has 5 points to give out, instead of 8 points (i.e.: +2 In, +1 handles, +1 drive D, +1 oreb) 3) The player(s) must spend at least 30 sim days (3 sims) to receive the +2's or +1's per category.
the +5 to potential is for 1st timers who spend the entire year in the DL. A player who is assigned at the ASW is ellgible for +3 to potential not +5. That is in the rules if you read them.

JW if it would be fair to allow players who were taken out after 5 sims (arbitrary #) to get +3 pot, similar to how players assigned at ASW get +3?
