14 Utah Jazz - Jeff Teague PG 6'2'' 180 21 C B- B- B D B
I DON'T KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN UTAH BABY, BUT LET ME TELL YOU THIS. THE FANS WILL LOVE JEFF TEAGUE WHEN THEY GET TO WATCH HIM. HE HAS ALL THE TALENTS YOU WANT FROM YOUR POINT GUARD BUT HE NEEDS TO WORK ON HIS ABILITY TO CONTROL THE GAME, DICTATING THE PACE OF THE GAME. WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE UTAH ROSTER AND YOU SEE THAT THEY HAVE JASON KIDD, WHAT A PLAYER TO WORK WITH. IN TWO YEARS TIME WE CAN SEE A POINT GUARD THAT SHOULD HAVE GONE MUCH HIGHER. THE JAZZ LANDED A BTP HERE, BIG TIME POINT HERE BABY!
15 Philadelphia 76ers (from Hornets) - Earl Clark SF 6'9'' 220 21 B- C- C B- C A
I THINK THE 76ERS ARE STOCKING UP ON SMALL FORWARDS, LOOKING AT THE ROSTER THEY HAVE NOW THEY NOW HAVE BATUM, CLARK, GREEN AND PRINCE. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY NEED SO MANY BUT TALENT IS NOT SOMETHING THE TEAM IS LACKING. COMBINING CLARK WITH THE EARLIER PICK IN LOPEZ, THE 76ERS HAVE HAD A TALENTED DRAFT FOR SURE. THEY HAVE A LOT OF YOUNG TALENT AND ARE LOOKING TO TRADE RAY ALLEN FOR EVEN MORE TALENT. GIVE THIS TEAM A FEW YEARS AND THEY CAN BE ONE OF THE BETTER TEAMS IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE. CLARK ADDS THAT TOUGHNESS THAT THEY NEED, HIS MARCH MADNESS PROVED IT. THE 76ERS LANDED A BTP FOR SURE, BIG TIME PLAYER BABY.
16 Houston Rockets (from Hawks) - Jonas Jerebko (Overseas) SF 6'9'' 210 22 C+ B C- C+ C+ A
AFTER DRAFTING BRANDON JENNINGS WITH THE SECOND PICK THE ROCKETS WENT WITH JEREBKO WITH THE 16TH PICK. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS SO I'M JUST GOING TO READ THE CARD, HE IS A SMALL FORWARD. HE IS 6'9 AND WEIGNED IN AT 210 POUNDS. HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REPLACE RUDY GAY IN A YEAR WHEN HE COMES OVER NEXT YEAR. TO FILL THIS TIME I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT ALLEN IVERSON BECAUSE I LOVE THE GUY. HE HAS SO MUCH HEART AND FOR HIM TO LOSE LAST YEAR HE REALLY TOOK IT HARD BECAUSE HE IS SUCH A COMPETITOR. BTW, BIG TIME WARRIOR BABY.
17 Sacramento Kings - Marcus Thornton SG 6'4'' 198 22 B- B C C C- B
THE KINGS HAVE A LOT OF YOUNG TALENT ON THAT TEAM AND SEEM POISED TO REALLY MAKE SOME NOISE THIS YEAR. ADDING THORNTON TO THE BENCH WILL GIVE THEM A DYNAMIC OFFENSIVE PLAYER. HE CAN DO IT ALL, HE SHOOTS, HE SLASHES, HE GETS TO THE RIM HE JUST DON'T PLAY DEFENSE. YOU LOOK AT THE ROSTER, CURRY-ROY-SMITH-HORFORD-NEWLEY THERE IS NO MORE EXCUSES FOR THIS TEAM. THORNTON WILL BE ABLE TO COME IN AND CONTRIBUTE FROM DAY ONE IF THEY DON'T SEND HIM TO THE D-LEAGUE. KINGS SHOULD REIGN SUPREME FINALLY BABY.
18 Los Angeles Clippers - Taj Gibson PF 6'9'' 210 24 B- D+ C- B- C+ B
TALK ABOUT A TEAM THAT IS TRYING TO REBUILD ITS IMAGE, THEY YET AGAIN PICK THE CALI KID FROM USC. GIBSON IS A BANGER THAT SHOULD REPLACE LOVE'S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE TEAM FROM LAST YEAR. BETWEEN HIM AND POWE THEY HAVE A FRONTLINE THAT IS RESPECTABLE, BUT WILL GET WORKED OVER A LOT. HOWEVER THE THING I LIKE ABOUT BOTH OF THESE GUYS IS THAT THERE WILLING TO THROW A FEW ELBOWS AND ENFORCE THE NO LAYUP RULE. GIBSON IS USED TO PLAYING WITHOUT THE BALL IN HIS HANDS WHICH IS A GOOD THING WITH RONDO ON THAT TEAM.
19 Washington Wizards - Gerald Henderson SG 6'5'' 215 22 C+ B C B- C- B
WE CAUGHT THE WIZARDS SLEEPING. THEY DIDN'T MAKE THEIR PICK SO THEY GOT AUTO'ED. HENDERSON IS A NICE CONSOLATION PRIZE FOR THEM CONSIDERING THEY MISSED THE PICK. HENDERSON SHOULD BE A GOOD BACKUP TO THE DYNAMIC BREWER DUO. HENDERSON IS STUNTIN LIKE HIS DADDY AND COMES WITH A NICE STROKE JUST LIKE HIS DADDY. HENDERSON COMES FROM A GREAT COLLEGE BASKETBALL PROGRAM AND THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND HE WILL MAKE A CONTRIBUTION.
20 Detroit Pistons - Jordan Hill PF 6'10'' 235 22 C+ D+ C- B C+ A
I WAS WONDERING WHEN HILL WOULD GO OFF THE BOARD, HE FINALLY LANDS A SPOT WITH THE PISTONS. THEY HAVE THE HAMMER, THE TRIPOD AND NOW JORDAN HILL. DETROIT IS TRYING TO BRING BACK THAT RUGGED TEAM THAT WAS SO GOOD WITH ISIAH THOMAS AND JORDAN HILL FITS THE MOLD BARELY. I'M SURPRISE THAT THEY WENT THIS ROUTE AND TOOK HIM INSTEAD OF A WING PLAYER BECAUSE THEY HAVE DEPTH ALREADY. EITHER WAY JORDAN HILL IS A BTP, BIG TALL PERSON.
