Saw some good things, saw some bad things. I learned two things that I wanted to see, so happy about that.

wow... 12-5 is a definite surprise even with some people benching their starters. This is by no means an indication of the upcoming season, but it certainly is promising.
Love put up 11.6ppg, 9.6rpg, 3.2apg but still needs defensive work and needs to raise his percentages.
Nick Young balled out with 17.4ppg on .500 FG% but only .278 3P%. Hes also grabbing 5.8rpg as my starting 2.
Carlos Boozer played really well as the SF for this team and may prove to not be such dead weight.

FBB is so hit and miss so Im not gonna say much about my preseason squad. I do like that I have 3 20+ ppg scorers and Andris Biedrins is a BEAST. 22ppg and 17rpg with 2.2bpg..Peja upped his ppg and hopefully can still shoot at a good clip in the reg. season. Felton improved his passing stats which is a plus. I like this team and despite some lack of true depth I know we can make the playoffs. Last year during the preseason we were 3rd out West and sucked in the reg. season so hopefully sucking in preseason means good things to come *crosses fingers*

holy crap i know its just preseason but it looks like we're going to have a another good season.
sheed dampier ai and kidd might be old but have all had great ssbl careers and still have some gas left in the tank. bron has turned out to be some sort of magic/oscar robertson fusion averaging almost a triple double but hes goin to have to prove he can do it in the postseason... all in all very happy. trading shaq has given the team a new look i think he was too slow

The Kevin Martin @ PG experiment went OK. I'll probably stick with Martin at SG. Outlaw needs work on his 3PT so he's getting camped there. I really satisfied with the McGee pickup. I hope he can shore up my defense and rebounding. All in all, don't have big expectations at all for this team.

Well, it looks like Robert Swift can play. Going to be starting PF for me, giving me some athleticism at the 4, something I didn't have last season with Pollard. Sofo is still an iffy player, 14 pts and 9 rebounds...
I'm very pleased/comfortable starting Tito Maddox this season. I might even make him an option. Hopefully with Wade, Ariza and Yao playing some of these guys will be able to find some more open looks and the offense will run better.
James Jones is still a great player, I'm pissed that I won't be able to find much playing time for him because I really wanted to start him this year. But I guess it's always good to know you have 2 15ppg players coming off the bench.
I'm really excited to see what kind of noise Wade Ariza and Yao can make this season...

Words cannot describe the feeling of having depth; doing a depth chart and having 4 guys on the bench that could have started for me last season. It's a great feeling, especially in the post where I couldn't find a tree to plant down there last season.

Yay for boxes! Ran an outside focus but it didnt slow Melo down and Billups enjoyed it, not sure if im gonna stick with that or go back to balanced like last season though. Wafer and Sampson both played well alongside those two which is nice to see. |

Not to worried about the record, Amare, Turk, Azubuike out of the lineup. Impressed with Speights and Telfair. Was hoping for more from Rush. Oh well, D-league em up

Just preseason, but not bad overall. Farmar and Artest scored at a pretty solid pace, though I'd like to see Farmar's assist totals come up a little bit when the season begins.
