Ray's 08 Mock v1.0:

1 - D.Rose, Memphis
A one-and-out player who is the fastest sonuvabitch I've ever seen with a basketball in his hands.

2 - OJ Mayo, USC
Considered the #1 HS prospect last year, he's also a one-and-out player who seems to have a more SSBL-ready body and game than Rose, but Rose is just too good, brah.

3 - B.Griffin, Oklahoma
A former McDonald's All-American who is considering staying at OK to refine his all-around game, which may be smart. Quick for a bigman and has some serious hops. Whatever he decides, his older brother will probably follow suit.

4 - B.Lopez, Stanford
Centers are a dying breed. He has good skills and good hands. And he's huge. His twin brother will probably also follow whatever he decides.

5 - Kevin Love, UCLA
In HS, it was debated whether Mayo or Love were #1, #2 respectfully, or flipped. Apples to oranges since Love is a bigman and Mayo is a wing, but Love is skilled, can shoot, and can definitely rebound.

6 - Russell Westbrook, UCLA
Man, this draft is guard-heavy. Westbrook is a combo guard who is strong and gets to the rim at will. Also a great defender, which is what separates him from the other PGs.

7 - Danilo Gallinari, Italy
Is he the next Dirk? Who knows, but the kid loves to shoot. Scouts are raving about this foreign prospect.

8 - Brandon Jennings, Oak Hill HS
The OJ Mayo of this year's HS class. He is considering Arizona or Overseas because he's an idiot with his SAT's, but he's a crafty ball handler with quickness and flashiness.

9 - Eric Gordon, Indiana
Another former HS standout who might be a one-and-out player given his hype, but hasn't ruled out returning to school if it means landing a top spot in next year's draft. He is a good shooter and pretty good leaper too.

10 - Stephen Curry, Davidson
Has increased his scoring since his freshman year, but he's too scrawny for me to have him any higher than 10 at this point. A crazy shooter, don't get me wrong, but not as athletic as the other guards I have ahead of him. Also needs to learn to play some D.

11 - Anthony Randolph, LSU
They compare him to Chris Bosh (the collge player, not the SSBL Bosh), given his length and offensive ability.

12 - Joe Alexander, WVU
Combo forward with skills.

13 - Chase Budinger, Arizona
Can shoot, can drive hard to the rim, can dunk. Plays more athletic than he looks.

14 - Kosta Kufos, Ohio State
Big man who can create his own shot and has good hands.

15 - Jason Thompson, Rider
A man amongst boys at a small school, but nonetheless a skilled back-to-the-basket player who plays bigger than he is
