Wilcard EntrantD.J. Augustin
PG 5'11 175 20 Texas Fr.
C B- B C+ C- A
Augustin is a pass first PG in ever since of the word. He loves to find the open man using his great court vision. His turnover ratio is good for a young player, and shouldn't climb to much higher in the pros. He can score the ball, but isn't as athletic as some other PGs in the league. Size will always be a concern for some GMs. DJ is not known as a defender, so alot of work will need to be done in that aspect to make it in the league.
Wilcard EntrantJerryd Bayless
PG 6'3 199 19 St. Mary's HS (AZ) HS Sr.
C+ B- C B- D A
Bayless has been compared to Gilbert Arenas. He is a freakish athlete who loves to make the exciting offensive play. He can attack the rim better than most PGs. He will need to work on his ball handling to be able to be a full time PG in SSBL. Scouts love his motor, but are concerned about his injuries over the past season.
Acie Law
PG 6'4 186 22 Texas A&M Sr.
CB C+ C+ D+ B
Law is a nice all around PG. He can pass the ball well and shoots decent too. He is a senior so 4 years of college has really helped his game. He is more a jump shooter, so needs work on his inside game. His defense is good, but isn't as quick as other PGs in this class. For being a taller PG, his rebounding could use work.
Aaron Brooks
PG 6'0 160 22 Oregon Sr.
C+ B C+ C+ D B
Brooks is a solid passer and can score in bunches. He has a knack for being a leader type, and scouts love that about him. He isn't super athletic, but can drive to the hoop and take contact. He loves the two man game, which usually results in him getting the basket. Scouts noticed that he loses focus at times and looks to score before passing the ball. His court vision must improve for him to be a legit PG in the league.
Blake Ahearn
PG 6'2 190 23 Missouri State Sr.
C C B C+ D B
Ahearn is a scorer, but has good handling ability. He isn't super athletic, but using his excellent basketball IQ to make a smart play. He may not ever become a starting PG in the league, but should find a roster due to his solid outside shot. He isn't the best defender, due to a lack of quickness.
Gabe Pruitt
PG 6'4 170 21 USC Jr.
C+ B B C D+ B
He is an athletic guard who can score in a variety of ways. His learning of the PG position is still in progress, so he may be more of a backup until ready. He can score from behind the 3pt line. His defense is solid, but may get out muscles by bigger guards. gets out of control at times, which causes concerns for some scouts.
Jared Jordan
PG 6'2 182 23 Marist Sr.
C B- C+ B D B
Jordan is a very knowledgeable player. he hustles on every play. He is a solid passer, who always looks for that first. he can score and attack the rim. Not great at shooting off the dribble. His defense is suspect as he isn't super quick. A good rebounder for a PG.
Javaris Crittenton
PG 6'5 194 20 Georgia Tech Fr.
B- C- B C+ D+ B
Crittenton is a very athletic PG. he loves making the big play. He is a taller PG, so he has the advantage over smaller PGs. He has a quick first step. Defensively, he can be over anxious at times and gets called for cheap fouls. He needs to work on leadership and making the right play instead of the flashy one to succeed at the next level.
Petteri Koponen
PG 6'5 194 19 Finland
C C+ B+ C D+ A
Koponen is a secret that not many know about. He is a very solid passer, who always looks to pass first. His defense is pretty solid, but could use work at the next level. He isn't super athletic, which could hurt him in SSBL. He is young and still raw at some parts of his game, so could use some seasoning before being an active player.
Mike Conley Jr
PG 6'1 175 20 Ohio State Fr.
C+ C B B D A
Conley has excellent court vision. He has the mentality of a seasoned veteran. He makes the right play most of the time. he loves to drive the lane and make a play. His outside shot is still a question mark. He needs to show that young PGs can come into the league and not fall to the waste side. His defense isn't as good as it could be. Scouts think Conley should be a solid pro if he progresses at a steady clip.
Ramon Sessions
PG 6'4 185 21 Nevada Sr.
C+ C B+ C+ D B
Scouts love the things Sessions brings to the floor. he is a great ball handler and has solid court vision. His shot is a concern, since he doesn't always look to score. Some question his chances of making it in the pros, since the competition he's faced isn't the best. Sessions is a smart player and should make a roster solely based on his ability to make the smart play.
Taurean Green
PG 6'1 173 22 Florida Jr.
C+ C B- C+ D+ C
Green isn't the best player, but thrives under pressure. He loves to drive and dish the ball. His shot has improved. He isn't the biggest guy which is the biggest knock on him entering the draft. Green may be able to find a roster and provide depth.
Jamaal Tatum PG 6'2'' 175 23
C+ B C C D+ B
Tatum is a smart play but average by SSBL standards. he makes the right play, but wont ever take over a game. He lacks the athleticism to keep up with quicker players. He can score from outside, but lacks the true PG skills that some others possess.
