Guys, SSBL4 has gotten off to a pretty fantastic start, I think.
The amount of trades and posts we've seen thus far is great. DCs by and large have been fantastic as well, but tonight's sim saw only 22 out of 29-- it's not enough to really raise a ruckus over, but I'd rather address this now before it becomes repeated habit.
1. DCs, DCs, DCs. Almost everyone here is on the board EVERY day-- it's not hard to post same. I don't care if you forgot that you already posted 'same' and do it again. The bare minimum is to do DCs. 22 DCs is a little low, and I understand that it's summer time and people have lives, but when you're on the board every day, you really don't have an excuse to NOT post a DC. Please don't forget that we have our league schedule posted for a reason.
2. Since it's summertime, don't forget to let us know if you're going to be away. Ray and I don't want to or need to know details of where you're going, but if you're going to be out of town for 3 days or 5, tell us. If some personal stuff's happening, tell us that real life calls. IN that case, just know that there will come a point when you'll need to evaluate whether you can still commit to a league like this with real life calling.
Just tweak this, and otherwise keep doin what you're doin, and we'll have ourselves a nice reincarnation of SSBL!
