Went Boston because I felt they built a better team that was built to win now. Even if the playoffs would have not been simmed they would have gotten my vote.

Celtics.
From a below 500 team to a championship team.

To even be considered is good enough for me. Voted Heat - they built that team and still have a future ahead of them with Nelson, Richardson and O'Neal locked up long term.

this was an unlucky year to be nominated. Most of the other GMs would be very strong candidates every other year, but the Celtics built a ridiculously talented team this year

Dunno what the Suns are doing there but everyone else did a very good job. Very close between the Celtics and the Raptors for me. Il give my vote to the Raptors.

GM Of The Year: Afro. For giving Kidd, Shaq and Iverson away to the two best teams in the East... At the very least, he should be given a portion of the proceeds.

thanks for the votes my fellow gms. i voted for the Raptors they assembled a powerhouse team, added all the right pieces, and might of had the best record in the East if it wasn't for them losing Kidd for a handful of games.

How do you think I feel? 55-27 to 61-21 like that really tells the difference of what I did? In all seriousness this was a good year for people.

It was a crazy year for people. I said in the nomination thread that the only reason I voted for Shawn was because everyone else was voting for us 3. I needed to switch it up like Brian did. Well, that and the fact he has a solid core, and no bad contracts.
Mayyyybe O'Neal, but their winning so it doesn't matter.

thanks dudes for the award..it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. blazers raptors yal did phenomenal jobs on ur rosters you both made several key trades that made your teams significantly better. both of u are in the running for a ring again this year so that right there shows u've built not to be fucked with teams..major props. rockets too, adding mash and brand was nice work.
