Ejike Ugboaja SF 6'9'' 225 19 B- C- C B- C AAthletic long wingman, can play both forward positions. Great leaping ability which allows him to block shots on the break, as well as in the half court set. Extremely agile for his frame. Great instincts on the offensive glass, and will jump out of the gym to get the ball. Still very young, and has a lot to learn in many aspects of the game. Needs to add strength if he wants to make it in the pros.
Shawne Williams SF 6'9'' 230 20 B- C C+ B- C+ BHas tremendous versatility, at 6-8 Shawne can play from the 1-thru-4 positions. Extremely long with a 7-3 wingspan. Advanced offensive game, really understands how to play. Great one on one skills offensively. Great vision, passing skills. Good ball handler, almost second nature.. Can create for himself or others off the dribble drive. Consistent jump shot, with range out to three point. A highlight reel waiting to happen. Extremely long wingspan makes him a terrific rebounder and shot blocker.
Rodney Carney SF 6'6'' 205 22 C+ C C B- C BOne of the most athletic players in all of college basketball. A great all around player with the ability to shoot, pass and defend as a small forward. Although he has range on his jumpshot, he lacks consistency. Athleticism allows Carney to get into the lane and finish strong often. Really gets up and grabs rebounds.
Renaldo Balkman SF 6'7'' 210 22 C+ C- D B C+ BExcellent defensive abilities. Needs to work on ball handling tremendously though if he wants to succeed in the SSBL. Long arms, very athletic wingman who will get a lot of steals. Great leaper and an above average rebounder for his size. Regardless of his weight, pound for pound one of the strongest in his class. His weight, however does affect his ability to defend in the post. Has a decent jumpshot, however no range to the pro three. Physical player and very quick.
PJ Tucker SF 6'5'' 225 21 B- C- C- B C+ BPJ Tucker and Balkman are nearly identical in skillset, with Balkman two inches taller, and Tucker having the more appropriate weight for a small foward. Tucker was a lockdown wing defender at Texas who is best described as 'pesky'. Pretty athletic despite his size, however lacks lateral quickness. Very strong for his size. Without long wiry arms, he relies on patience and skill to get his steals, which he will get. Not a skilled post scorer, much more reliant on his ability to squeeze by defenders on his way to the post.
Denham Brown SF 6'5'' 220 23 C+ C B- B- C BOnce scored 111 points in a HS game. (True Story, look it up) Brown is a great all around player being 23 years old. Excellent timing on steals and will get a bunch from Day One. Average athlete - won't jump out of the gym, but is manageable, but he is incredible quick and will blow by defenders on drives. Reliable jumpshot. Decent at attacking the rim. Above average passing and ball handling skills. Quickness allows him to excel on driving defenders, and this is where he gets most of his steals. Potential is questioned by some.
Adam Morrison SF 6'8'' 200 22 C+ B+ C C C COffensive superstar at Gonzaga, and should continue to be able to score in bunches, as long as whoever drafts him can put up with his lack of defense. Flawless jumper with great form, rarely screws up his shot. Good handles with the ball on a drive or in transition. Despite his ability to get to the basket, he's not very quick. Decent athlete.
Lior Eliyahu SF 6'9'' 225 21 C+ C+ C- B- C BRelatively unknown in America, Eliyahu possesses a great foundation of skills to succeed in the SSBL. He has the size, strength and incredible athleticism to play with the best if he decides to show up. Has a great jumpshot and SSBL range. His defense is solid and he uses his long arms to clog passing lanes and driving lanes. Rarely ever lets a player by him on defense. Ball handling is an issue for Eliyahu, but rarely has the ball in his hands unless he stole it, or is spotting up to shoot.
David Noel SF 6'6'' 225 22 C+ C+ D C C BGood scorer with average athleticism that has been hindered by stiff legs. Regardless of how high he can jump, or how strong he can be, he is deathly slow, and it affects his game tremendously. Great jumpshot and can easily hit the pro 3. Needs work on defense, but has a solid understanding at this point. Like many others, potential is an issue, but with the right system he could blossom.
Marcus Vinicius SF 6'8'' 225 24 B- C- D+ B C CA natural born offensive player, Marcus can do anything with the ball. Has all the fundaments of the game, can pass, dribble, play post-up, penetrate the boards and his ball-handling is very strong for a men of his size. Runs the floor like a 6-3 guy, with spectacular agility and he excels in the fast break situation. Already has a good leaping ability and his body hasn't fully developed so it can improve.
Bobby Jones SF 6'7'' 215 22 C+ C+ C C+ C- CAnother great offensive player, has the ability to score off the drive, spot up shoot or create for himself iso. Decent ball handler, with a keen sense of setting his teammates up in good positions. Fairly quick but could get quicker. Horrible post defense overshadows other aspects, which are actually decent. Good size and strength and has a decent vertical leap.
