I'll start it off by nominating the Raptors and Celtics. Both mad some huge deals that placed them ahead of the pack in the league.

Thanks all - I gotta go with MP. Put Redd, Theo and KVH on the team next to JJ without giving up JJ.

Yea because moving a first for TP when Robby put up a block saying he can go for expirings was a great move.
But yea some very good nominations, Raptors, Celtics and Blazers all did great jobs. Lakers did some nice moves on paper but the record doesnt really show it.

haha yeah I know, I would never vote for a GMOY that produced a losing team!

You know what, I'm going to go out on a limb here and rescind my nomination for MP because he's already been nominated, and go with Shawncro. He traded for Jones, without giving up his 4 other starters in Knight, O Neal, Wallace or Nelson. Now he has one of the most potent lineups in the East.

Yeah that's true, but I personally can't vote for anyone who rigs the FBB process. Zimmerman an A+ Handles... Jeez.
Truly an interesting year that we might need more than 15 GM's to vote.

Did I read that right? I think it would be more telling if someone rigged the file and still couldn't win. So I guess using that logic we are in good hands.

Zimmerman is probably just a product of being a FBB freak, his ratings coming out of the draft were C C B+ B D+. he got overlooked in the draft because his potential was listed as a C, but it must of been a high B.

but yeah magic do deserve a nom because they did improve they did transform their roster and maintain a great record. im not sure what their record was last year though so i dont know how much they improved.

Post by Akomplice on Jan 18, 2011 21:01:28 GMT -5
Yeah that's why FBB prospects are usually limited, every now and then one of them come through and defy all logic. I think last one was Taylor Person or something like that and he was a rebounding freak.

So right now we have:
Celtics - runngunallday Raptors - kmatrixg Blazers - MP Rockets - Buffaloblue Heat - Shawncro Suns - crazymike Magic - ray
How many do we usually have? And how do we condense this?

Post by runngunallday on Jan 18, 2011 21:22:42 GMT -5
there should only be 5 i think. i was kidding when i nom'd the suns so you can exclude them. and didnt the heat win it last year so maybe we can take them off even though adding eddie jones was a good move.
