Rockets agree to this for a few simple reasons. Bosh is in year 3 and he has not developed enough for me. I have even put him as number one options and his looks are just so limited. He will likely develop, but I have one big man in bogut to pour some money into.

Brand is a beast in his prime with a very reasonable contract.

I hate giving the firsts up, but I dont believe they will be that good with the legitimate scorers that I have.

Smith and Harrington were collateral damage, but they were important to match salaries for me.

Again, I am giving up a lot, but I am getting a 25 ppg guy inside which is tough to come by.

I think elton brand was just a product of a team that had no other scorers...so i feel it was bit inflated...I wanted to stay young that way all of my younger guys will develop at the same time...no point in having brand when he's 30 as my younger guys are just developing...and if jr is put into dleague i think he could be come a starter in the league....1sts are nice and pick up a 5 mil expiring...good dealin
