After I traded for Kwame Brown another GM made the comment that maybe Candyman could teach him how to be a bust. In 7 seasons for me Candyman has averaged 17 points and 10 boards with the last 3 averaging 19 and 11. I will take a bust like that. Here is list of players that do not match their NBA reputations.
Knicks:Allen Houston not only is his D awful he has a league career average of 8.7 per game.
Magic: Dan Dickau pretty much a bust in the NBA has been a nice double digit scorer for the Magic
Celtics: Eddie Curry slug for the Knicks, but had a great rookie season for the Celtics.
Wizzards: Mo Williams so so player for I think Cleveland right now. They wish he was a 20 point 7 assist kind of pg
Sixers: Ginobili: Even though he has been ok I am sure the Sixers would much rather have the Spurs version of him.
Pacers: I have never even heard of Ed Cota before. Here is scored 18 points and dished 8 assists last season.
Bulls: Marcus Banks a bust in the NBA but here is a 14 point 8 assist gem.
Wolves: Shane Battier is a solid NBA player, but here he needs to pick up the pace or he will fit the bust mold.
Rockets: JR Smith is a solid NBA player and I remember at one point the Clippers here were looking at paying up for him. He now looks like a bust of a lotto pick here.
Kings: Tayshaun Prince. I remember when I was looking at Griffen and Tayshawn and there was part of me that wanted to take Tayshaun. He has had an ok NBA career for the Pistons, but so far here he has sucked.
Clippers and the afford mentioned Candyman although Jaric is out performing and if he keeps going so will Q-rich.
Just a thought and I may have missed some obvious ones.
