If your a team looking to move talent to rebuild the Clippers are your team to talk to. We have a stud pg a 20 and 10 center and a player who on teams that were not so balanced would be scoring 25 a night. I am looking to add to the mix. Here are needs. This team though is built on balance and defense and players need to fit that philosophy.
The Clippers have a couple younger players that could grow into these needs, but over the next 2 or 3 seasons I want to take advantage of the window.
Needs
SG somebody that plays defense like tony allen but scores like flip murray
PF somebody that scores like Kwame Brown but place defense like Lorenzen Wright.
Q-Rich and Jaric are pretty much off the table. Candyman would be difficult to get, but not impossible. If I got a player who could both play stellar defense and take up for his scoring loss at the SG spot, a deal might be able to happen. Everybody else is on the table including any and all picks. I wanted to make more deals last off season and came close but no dice. I am hoping that this off season will be different.
