Wildcard EntrantSebastian Telfair PG 6'0 170 20 Louisville Fr.
C+ C+ B+ B- D A
Telfair is is a solid player, but is he SSBL ready? He needs to work on his jumpshot and scoring overall as he is average at best. He is a good passer of the ball and always looks for the flashy play. His defense needs a bit of work as he gets pushed around by stronger players. Look for Telfair to test the waters fully before making a decision.
Wildcard EntrantLouis Williams - PG 6'2 175 19 South Gwinnett HS (GA)
C+ B- C+ B- D A
Another wildcard. Williams is a scoring PG and should help a club off the bench. he needs to work on his handles if he wants to be taken serious as a PG. He has good defensive skills, but could work on his strength. He is young so look for him to weight his options.
Wildcard EntrantToney Douglas - PG 6'2 185 19 Auburn Fr.
C+ B- B C+ D+ B
Douglas is a solid all around PG. He is pretty quick and has a good shooting touch. He isnt a selfish player and should help a team out right away. He needs to work on his defense and size may be an issue down the road.
Wildcard EntrantChris Paul - PG 6'0 175 20 Wake Forest So.
B- C+ B+ B+ C- A
Paul is a beast. He is the head of the PG class for sure. He is lightning quick and always thinks pass first. He needs a bit of work on his scoring, but any team would love his passing ability. His defense is solid, which should lead to alot of steals. A true wildcard and could go either way come draft time.
Roko Ukic - PG 6'5 180 21 Croatia
21 C C B+ C+ D- A
Ukic is a pass first PG. He has a very minimal offensive game. he is a team player and does the little things that dont get posted on the stat sheet. Ukic plans to stay overseas for one season playing for Baskonia.
Daniel Ewing - PG 6'3 185 22 Duke Sr.
22 C B- B+ B- C- C
Ewing is one of the older PGs in th draft. He is a floor general in ever sense. He is a streaky shooter but makes up for it with good decisions making. He should be a nice bench option for a team in SSBL.
Deron Williams - PG 6'3 210 21 Illinois Jr.
B- B B+ B C- A
Could we be jinxing Williams by claiming he should be the 2005 ROY. His team came up short against North Carolina in the national title game, but Williams did his best. He is an all around great player. He can get to the hoop with no regard and always looks for the open man. not sure there are to many holes in his game as is.
Jarrett Jack - PG 6'3 205 22 Georgia Tech Jr.
C+ B B- C+ D+ B
Jack is another quick player in this draft. He needs to work on his inside game. He likes to slash to the hoop, but doesnt always make good decisions. He isnt the best passer in the draft, but is working on that part of his game. Defense may be an issue since he doesnt have the quickest hands.
John Gilchrist - PG 6'3 191 21 Maryland Jr.
21 C+ C B- B- D C
The Maryland junior has declared for the draft, but was it the right move. he looks to be a 2nd round pick at best. He has good speed, but it doesnt translate to alot of easy looks. He needs alot of work on his game, as he is more of a passer then scorer. He is a good passe, but doesnt always make the best pass.
Pierre Pierce - PG 6'4 195 22 Iowa Jr.
B- C B C+ C C
Pierce needs to work on his quickness as he gets beat alot by quicker guards. He is a streaky shooter which leads to alot of misses. His defense could use work. Passing isnt a huge issue as he does know how to distribute the ball.
Travis Diener - PG 6'1 180 23 Marquette Sr.
C B B- C D- B
Diener is only the 2nd senior in this PG crop. He is a nice player as he mixes in passing with scoring. He has a solid jump shot and likes to hit the big shot. Defense is an issue for him though. He is older, so his window is slowly closing. He may find a team in the 2nd round.
Ray Rose PG 6'1 165 22 Olivet Nazarene (IL) Jr.
C+ C B- C+ D- C
Rose is a virtual unknown player. He is has no offensive game and isnt that much of a passing threat.
