Here are the rules that govern off-season Free Agency.
During the playoffs of each season, I will update this thread to reflect any salary changes.
All bids must be in the following format:
All bids must be alphabetized by FIRST name.
If you are offering the Mid-level Exception or Lower-Level Exception to any player, you can simply send an alphabetized list (by first name) of all the players you would like to offer the MLE, LLE, 1 year minimum, or 2 year minimum to.
If you have plenty of salary cap space and would like to offer a number of maximum bid offers, you can do the same.
Here is an example of a good set of bids.
Bird Rights & Raises
If you own a player’s Bird Rights (3 or more) you are able to offer a player a max contract for 7 seasons at 12.5% raises. If you do not have bird rights, you may offer a max contract for 6 seasons with 10% raises.
Maximum One Year Deals
We will allow maximum one-year deals.
Maximum Amounts
1-6 years of experience = 25% of cap --> 11,250,000
7-9 years of experience = 30% of cap --> 13,500,000
10+ years of experience = 35% of cap --> 15,750,000
Maximum amounts will be posted every year, once we determine what the salary cap will be in the upcoming season.
Minimum Contracts
We will allow you to offer the minimum professional contract for a maximum of TWO seasons. As stipulated above, you can send a PM with bids for as many players at a 1 year or 2 year minimum. These lists must be alphabetized by first name, and you must clearly stipulate whether you want to offer the 1 year minimum or 2 year minimum.
If you offer the minimum, here is the salary breakdown:
