Read these rules carefully.
During the season, teams are limited to ONE signing per 24 hours. The only exception is if, after the free agency period, teams have less than 12 players. In that instance, you can sign as many players as it takes to reach the requisite 12 players on your roster-- no more, no less. So if you have 7 players, you are allowed to sign 5.
This means you cannot sign 2 or more "vet FAs" to make a deal work.
As you all know, cutting a player incurs a cap penalty. The cut player's salary still counts toward your salary, but is removed from your roster.
In-season sign/cut ends after Day 110
