Jazz Yao Ming C 7'5'' 296 22 B C D B B- A
Obviously tall capable of scoring rebounding and getting blocks. Likely the most ready to go player in the draft. The team had multiple needs but with another Chinese center named Wang Zhizhi as the center this is huge literally and figuratively.
A+
Celtics Caron Butler SF 6'5'' 211 22 B- C+ C B C+ A the Celtics really needed wing players and they got a nice all around one in Caron Butler. Rumor is they are going to play him at sg. I like Butler, but think there were better players on the board.
B+
Houston Rockets - Dajuan Wagner SG 6'3'' 200 19 C+ B- B- B- C A The Rockets needed a SG as well and got a good one. I actually like Wagner better than Butler especially if your going to switch Butler to SG. He also is younger with more room to grow.
A
Miami Heat - Jason Richardson SG 6'6'' 220 21 B C+ C C+ C A
Basically they needed everything other than pf. They got a nice sg in Richardson who can provide nice offense. His defense is in question though and will need work.
B
Los Angeles Clippers - Eddie Griffin PF 6'10'' 222 20 C+ C+ D+ B+ B A
The Clippers really could use a scorer and they got a nice all around inside scorer who could develop into a really special player. They also lacked rebounding which he should help with.
A
Seattle Supersonics - Jay Williams PG 6'0'' 197 21 C+ B- B- B- C- A
The Sonics needed a point guard and they got a really good one. This pg is young with oodles of potential
A+
Dallas Carlos Boozer PF 6'9'' 280 21 B- C C- C+ B A
With almost an empty roster the needs were everywhere. Boozer is a nice player to build around. He will need to shore up his defense, but with patience should be a nice player.
