Im from europe and watched a ton of Euroleague games the last couple of seasons, and if anything, Vasquez is nothing like Tsikitishvili...Vasquez built a name for himself in Europe, which Nikoloz never did. I can safely say, hes the most athletic european big man at the moment, and u can add a solid mid range jumper, shot blocking ability, and decent post game to that as well. Rubio to Vaquez alley oop has become a trademark Barcelona play. He still isnt on Scola/Splitter level when they became stars here, but hes a very very solid player that has a good chance of earning minutes in the NBA.

Jesus guys, it was a comparison of the scouts REACTIONS, not the scouts saying they're the same damn player.

Besides we all know we should be talking about Nemanja... jeez.

Nemanja is a year younger then me, and I remember wen we were 16-18 years old, playing national championshiop, there was already all the hype talk about him. One of my teammates at the time played for croatian u-17 national team and they played Serbia in one tournament, and he spoke so higly of his talents, that he really looks like a future nba stud. And he never made it. Not even close.

The tale of Nemanja spreads far and wide. Great player who knees got shot. Should have jumped to the league the first time and stuck in the draft.

Best part is I just remember I took some forein dude a few years ago so I came to check up on him. Actually opens some options for me after the year regarding trades with Bogut/Torres coming on board.
