New Sim Schedule Format this season

Slash and I talked about trying a new sim schedule...the reasoning was to create more activity between sims 1-10 where we noticed the most DEAD TIME is (don't lie, you know it's true).

Two options:

1) Sims 1-12 will be 10 day sims, which take place every night

2) Sims 1-10 will alternate between 10 day sims and 15 day sims. Sim1 10 days, Sim2 15 days, 10, 15.....etc will occur every OTHER night

both proposals equate to one full season = approx 25-30 rL days

the way we have been doing it (12 day sims every other day) one season equalled about 40 days....a little longer than we planned.

you can vote to shed some light and your thoughts, but I will be the simmer in this trial period and definitely going with one of the two. There is no option 3, keep it the same. I want to try it out to get a feel for it. I dont like dead time, and more activity, more posting is always a good thing.

I am capable enough of keeping up with everyday sims.

went with the second option....I think u need an off day to give people a chance to post their DC. There would be some very low DC #'s If you're simming everyday

good point, i'm aware. If we did #1, I wouldnt be too strict on the low DC tallys (I'll still know who are missing DC's and who arent)

but to counter your point, people should really be checking every single day, and its not hard to post same

just to see how activity fairs with the new sched. i feel like #2 is pretty much the same except different # of day's simmed

I don't mind either. I just ask that if you do go with the every day one, make sure you actually sim every day.

After my league closing, if activity isn't great around here, changing the sim schedule probably should be the least of our worries around here, hehe.

I voted for two, just cause Im use to it, but I think it would be a good change. Ive never had a guy that wanted to sim every day, more props to ya.
