Ray you can close this if you want, but I wanted to open up a pre-draft discussion for those waiting for the draft.
Obviously, you don't have to tell anyone who you're going to take, but talk about who you think a steal will be, who will go higher than expected, lower than expected, draft busts, draft stars etc.
I'll start by saying, I believe Kenneth Faried in SSBL will be drafted earlier than anyone would have thought, and it'll pay off in the long run. Look at guys like Shelden Williams who have flourished with a couple D-League stints.

Ainge said that Avery Bradley would have gone top 5 in this draft....I guess we will see for sure if he's telling the truth

Yeah, I was really surprised by Bradley's ratings, but they all seem correct. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of Bradley soon in RL with the Celtics. I remember wanting the Raptors to take him real bad last season before they chose Ed Davis, which seems to be working out in it's own right.

Yeah I agree Joel, as I said from the beginning when the draft class was posted.
Even though there are some top-flight PGs, I have Turner who excelled there. Would probably be targeting a SF but there isn't one that I like. Maybe I'll just trade my pick if there are any takers.

I'm having the same problem right now, with Jrue and DJ. If I get the top pick, I can't overlook Irving who is probably chock-full of potential. You just don't pass up on a guy who could turn into an B A- A- A- point guard these days. You just don't. I could play Jrue at the 2 guard, but I'm not sure if he'd develop correctly in that case.

Yeah I think someone will take him way too high, honestly don't see him being much more than a scorer off the bench

Jeb shouldn't you wait til it is accepted? I don't think it really matters, it's not like it's going to get veto'd

Til what is accepted? Both parties agreed... Did you mean passed? Eh, if nobody put up a fuss, no biggie. If somebody did, Ray would call a timeout.
Huge move by Detroit. Basically moved more for the #2 pick than the #1, but all in all, moved 4/5 of their starting lineup for 2 future all-star hopefuls.. Now, if Jeb can show the same patience that he did with Barbosa, we could see a future powerhouse in Mo-town

I couldn't pass him up. Next best thing to Irving, moved DJ for a reason - had to fill the hole. GLAD I did.

Donatas wasn't really who I wanted at 6 but I wanted to go big and the two I really wanted (Bismack and Jonas) were off the board right before my selection. If Donatas has some potential though he can be pretty darn solid so I'm not gonna get too depressed about the selection.

Definitely thought he'd go before the Jonas Bro though, IMO he is better/more versatile Edit: If he were to fall, he would have been my pick, I wanted a Euro style big man to compliment Cousins/Ha

Happy with Bismack, he was pretty much my target since Derrick Williams wasn't realistic after wiffing in the lotto. Needed some kind of big man to go with Reke and Flynn. Now turn into Ben Wallace.

Are you gonna pick? Technically we're supposed to pick for you if you're on the board and don't pick.

When Ray changed his scouted potential from C to B, I knew it had to be a good sign. Why you were targeting him with your 2nd though, is beyond me.
