The Grizzlies and Pacers just missed the deadline for trades....they also missed the memo that no one cares about the Grizzlies and the Pacers

Yeah awesome deadline for sure. Can't believe we saw almost 10 trades go down altogether! Best deadline since Rasheed went from Portland to Atlanta to Detroit before he finished making a sandwich.
I think OKC came out big winners here getting Perkins and Mohammed for an expiring Green

I think OKC came out big winners here getting Perkins and Mohammed for an expiring Green especially since they got rid of Krstic's soft ass nature and OKC even picked up Nate the Gr8 for some energy off the bench

Whos gonna play power forward for Okc now? Where does Green find minutes in Boston? Garnett plays C? If Oneals get injured, Boston is seriously screwed.
Clippers trading a lotto first to get rid of a couple of millions is insane..Worst trade of the night by far.
Bobcats quitting on the playoff hunt, dunno if its a smart move for the Blazers either, Roy has to stay healthy.
Rockets did solid, dunno why the Suns would send a 1st and Dragic for a guy thats gonna backup Nash. If Thabeet can develop some game at all, the Memphis trade could be a steal too.

O'neals are injured. Shaq out possibly till playoffs. I think Baby starts next to Garnett, with Green coming off the bench at the 3-5. It's not too crazy to think he plays a little bit of center especially next to Garnett. As far as the Clipps go, I think they're fine shedding salary instead of taking another rookie. Think of their lineup - their young at every position. Jordan--Blake--Aminu--Gordon--Bledsoe.. Plus the bench. I wouldn't want another pick either. Instead they possibly clear a bunch of cap for 2012.

Ainge did what he had to do in a business sense. Celtcs couldn't afford to re-sign Perk for the money he would-want/deserves
also, OKC probably felt better extending a guy that doesn't play the same position as their superstar....similarly, BOS felt they could retain Green who could also be a part of their future

Anyone think Ainge is a fucking douche for trading Marquis after finding out he needs a spinail cord operation?
Also Id rather take the lotto pick if Im the clippers...From what I heard Mo Williams has the player option for the last year, and hes gonna play out his full contract so the Clippers didnt gain a whole lot. If I had to have a PG playing with Blake, id rather have Baron then Mo.

You'd really rather have an out of shape Bdiddy than Mo. No way imo and Mo can shoot it which makes him a nice fit with Gordon that could be some deadly screen and roll and inside out action for the next couple of years

I don't think Ainge is a douchebag - he had to pick 3 players that were expendable. Marquis was one of them after the news. He was injured, shit happens. I'm sure they had a long talk about why he was being traded, it's not like Marquis told Ainge he needed surgery and Ainge's response was "Well then we're going to trade you"

Its still douche like, and yeah, If I were the Clippers id rather have a lotto pick and Davis then MO.
