Was really hoping Conley fell to me, but I knew he wouldn't. Took Splitter, might be a reach, but hopefully he develops nicely

The Splitter pick is not the best choice. Hawes looks to be more promising..especially being only 19..

Went with Spencer Hawes, liked a few other guys on the board but center was a bigger need for me. Really don't think there's much difference in picking from like 7-15ish in this draft.

I like Brewer, especially considering I just got accepted to UF, but I was really hoping to get Horford or Oden this year. I need to make some moves and get a big man.

The Splitter pick is not the best choice. Hawes looks to be more promising..especially being only 19.. maybe...but Splitter is also staying overseas...

So is this whole overseas thing kind of like the real life Ricky Rubio situation? except these players will actually come over after their alotted time overseas

So is this whole overseas thing kind of like the real life Ricky Rubio situation? except these players will actually come over after their alotted time overseas right. and their contracts don't go into effect until they do come over. so for 2 years, knicks' cap wont be affected by splitters 4 year rookie deal until he comes over in 2009

I liked the look of Splitter, wasnt sure how high he was gonna go. As Will said after the top 6 I think the picks are wide open.
I wanted either Conley or Augustin but neither fell. Hopefully Bayless can develop into a solid player.

Have my eyes on a few guys I hope will develop in case Wade decides to scram. Not a lot of perimeter guys left, but plenty of SF's

I did notice in looking at the file there are a lot of small fowards and some of them could develop into nice players, also with points guards.
The centers looked solid but the wild card hurt the depth in the draft in that area.

Not the best year to need a big, I like Splitter at 270 over Hawes but both are projects

Yeah, not a lot of bigs at all after the wildcard. In fact my favorite big was robin lopez - I thought he could have been a nice DEF/REB center prospect. I was really hoping Bayless fell to 13, being a Raptor ya know..

the part i dont like for you is there are so many similar guys why throw all that cash for a late lotto pick better off getting a pick you can dleague imo
Chandler was a prime target of mine I was thinking about trying to trade up but then decided to just wait this draft out

Man, now that the rosters are uploaded, I can drool at having Durant. First time having Durant on a team in any league. Been my favorite player since Texas (up there with Kobe).

<3 Beasley at SF, boy he develops his offensive game more and he's a BAMF

Either way I still have the 20 and if my guy is still up there, it could be a nice pick..

It seems people are finally paying attention to defense this year.

I thought about taking Wright and moving him to small foward since at 6'10" it would have been interesting but decided to go with Webster at the last second.
