Had an idea for a mock draft game....cash rewards for guessing correctly!
GMs who want to participate, PM me a mock draft (1-30) for the real life nba draft Thursday night. The game would be predicted WHERE the player gets picked (not what team picks him). 2 points for an exact pick and 1 point if you guess one spot away. So let's say you predicted the top 5 as:
1 - J.Wall
2 - E.Turner
3 - D.Favors
4 - D.Cousins
5 - W.Johnson
but the actual top 5 turned out to be:
1 - Wall
2 - Cousins
3 - D.Favors
4 - E.Turner
5 - W.Johnson
you would get +2 for Wall at 1, +0 for Turner at 2, +2 for Favors at 3, +0 for Cousins at 4, and +2 for Johnson at 5
at the end, I will tally everyone's points and reveal the winners.
Rewards for the top point getters:
For 10 or more participants:
$500 for first
$250 for second
$100 for third
For less than 10 participants:
$400 for first
$200 for second

^ I like your mock, my 2 schools represented in the 1st round with Terrico White(Ole Miss) and Solomon(FSU). I just hope the Heat take Solomon, we can use another big, esp. after JO's playoff performance. Solomon's really not as unpolished as people think, he would've had much better stats if our offense wasn't so fucking terrible.

everyone is writing off cousins...he's the second best player in the class! wow, if he falls to 5, 6, or 7 he is gonna never going to forget the teams that passed him up
Turner, Johnson are good players, but they don't stick out as future superstars for some reason...i guess you could say that no one was saying that about Bosh or Dwight before they were drafted either though, so you never know.

The Nets at #3 don't need a back to the basket center with lopez there so they'll go Johnson or Favors.then Cousins will go either 4 or 5 |
