sell... until melo starts playing some D, the Knicks aren't going anywhere. And, I don't think melo cares enough to start getting physical. Plus, the inevitability that the Heat, and/or Celtics will turn it up a notch for the playoffs means the Knicks chances of making it to 6 games against either team are extremely slim.
B/S... The Bulls are the frontrunners to win the O'Brien trophy this year.

Actually Luca, Melos D won us the game tonight, and hes been playing GREAT defense like I never expected him to since he came to NY. I guess the fact he wants to be here he is pushing himself a little more on the defensive side, so you're point there is invalid. I watch every game, he's a new player..believe me when I say that. But, Knicks will still lose in 5 regardless. The depth isn't there just yet, nor is the center we need.

Actually Robby, learn how buy/sell works.
Sell, nobody but the Lakers should be considered the front-runners.
B/S: One of the bottom four playoff teams out East (Hawks, Pacers, Knicks, Sixers) have a shot at advancing to the 2nd round.

Sell, Hawks have the best shot but none of them have a chance
B/S, Jimmer actually becomes a good NBA player

Buy: Depends what your definition of "good" is. If its a rotation guy or fringe starter then yes, I view him as being that type of NBA player. He's like a Stephen Curry imo.
B/S: Danny Granger AND Deron Williams sign with new teams this offseason.

B/S: Danny Granger AND Deron Williams sign with new teams this offseason. Sell, Granger will re-sign with the Grizzlies and Williams will join him. That's how Afro's luck seems to go with free agency right? B/S: The Suns getting back to the SSBL4 finals next season.

Buy...I can actually see this happening....Joe Johnson is THAT nasty....the west is a toss up between PHX and MIN I'd say.
B/S...Derrick Williams goes number 1 (real life)?

I'll buy but hard to say right now not knowing who will be picking first. I do think he is the best player right now. Irving imo will be the better player long term.
B/S, Grizz turn it around like the Spurs did last year in the SSBL

Buy: Afro is a great GM and will find a way to get out of the cellar. Just like the Spurs, a few great moves should do it.
B/S: Sergei Karaulov* of the Bucks will win DPOY over the Polish Hammer (Gortat).
|
|
|
Post by ib4 on Apr 20, 2011 9:23:51 GMT -5
Sell....though Sergei has the rebounding edge, Gortat isn't too far behind him...and they swat the same amount of shots away....A+ defense is "quite pimp" as jeb would say so i have to believe FBB gives it to the Hammer
B/S Bobcats end up a top 3 East team

CP3 = RL Raymond Felton with better defense
B/S: A lotto pick in this draft gets traded for a more established player.

|
|

buy - This draft class is so deep there's bound to be a trade in the 6-14 range
B/S: John Wall is the player selected first overall
|
|
|

Buy. I mean it's not a certainty or anything but personally, I have two young PGs attached to this franchise (Rubio and Rondo) and I'd STILL take Wall there. Gotta mean something.
B/S: Celtics win again in 2010

Sell: I think the age and expense of that roster finally catches up with them at least some
B/S: Wall and Gibson can work well together as a backcourt?
|
|
|
Post by ib4 on May 10, 2011 14:47:01 GMT -5
ehh, I originally said Sell, but I think I'll buy this now. C+ A scoring should compliment the drive-and-kick ability of John Wall. Two young and quick guards, I guess it could work
B/S: Greg Oden and the Hammer remain teammates by the end of the 2010 season.
|
|
|
Post by cashmoney on May 10, 2011 14:48:17 GMT -5
Sell: I don't think they will win but should get far into the playoffs.
B/S: No LA team makes the playoffs.
|
|
|
Post by luca on May 10, 2011 15:10:00 GMT -5
Buy: anything can happen from now until the end of the season, but at this point, the Lakers have way too many guards and not enough bigmen, while the Clippers are still a bit raw and will probably need another season to get there.
B/S: The Miami Heat make the playoffs.

B/S... (SSBL) D-Rose wins an MVP in the next 3 years

Sell just because I think LeBron will continue to be the favorite as long as he plays PG with his rebounding numbers and he will also be carrying the offensive load from the looks of it.
Buy or Sell, the Celtics championship window (in SSBL) is now closed

|
|
Post by kmatrixg on Jun 2, 2011 15:19:55 GMT -5
Sell, I wouldn't say it's closed, but they have about as much chance as anyone else to win it now
B/S - (NBA) Rudy Gay gets traded this offseason.

sell....they invested too much money in him to just deal him away...with a lockout looming I doubt big moves will be made even during the reg season also
BS Spoelstra out, Riley in....
