MJ Watch 99... Jordan was spotted at a downtown Chicago nightclub triple-teaming some bimbo with Charles Oakley and Brad Sellers.
More on that as it comes in.

what do you people think about In-Season MLE's?
thoughts....

what do you people think about In-Season MLE's? thoughts.... Eh maybe. Would definitely have to have a fee attached to it. Would have to be comparable to a TEs or more because teams would use that to help match contracts in trading instead of using TEs. Also still keep the fee of actually moving an MLE.

this could eliminate TE's alltogether. Either use all or up to $4.5mil for any in-season FA signing. as long as you didn't use your MLE in the offseason.

I like it, would we do away with the cost of trading an MLE? Either way, I think its a good idea, and should replace TEs

if we do this why not just make it so you can offer multiyear mle's for a fee if you sign the guy to an MLE you can extend it out etc... Furthermore if we do this how do you plan on going with the nba rule that a team that starts the season under the cap cannot use an mle that offseason etc etc
just food for thought

no multi year MLE's....we already have that "year after MLE" thing where guys can already offer up to 5.4 mil that people always do anyway....
but I would probably include the stipulation that if you start the season under salary cap, no in-season MLE

I think this is just getting messier which means more headaches for ray and if the solution is getting rid of TE's so be it or have the only TE's be generated by team with cap space taking a player back for less like real life (Also probably too much work) I have no problem with just getting rid of TE's completely

...or try to run the "used car salesman" game on you like you're some dumbass who just crawled out from under a rock in Siberia. Or better yet, try to strong-arm you into agreeing to a deal after you've told them "no" 20,000 times.

By the way, why siberia? I'd think they'd be accustomed to living under rocks/in caves because it's so barren, therefore making the normal person, a rock dweller. I think a place where rocks are less familiar (the rainforest?) would be a better assessment because only stupid people with an actual choice would decide to live under a rock.
Just sayin
There's my complaint for the thread.
